I am a slut for my Google Reader. If I don’t have your site in there, chances are I’m not reading you unless someone sends me a direct link. I have about 100 freelancing and writing blogs in there, and look forward to seeing them updated. Here are a few I’d like to share.
Abundance Blog: Marelisa Fábrega offers up great tips on creativity and workspace optimization.
Freelance Writing: Chris Bibey writes several times a week about the nature of the beast tha is freelance writing and working for yourself. His article on laziness (and how to avoid it) was especially helpful in keeping perspective.
Keep in mind that you only get paid when you work. It is easy to be lazy when you work at 9-5 job because you will still get paid no matter what. But as a freelance writer the money only rolls in when you send quality work to your clients. If you want to get paid you better do your work.
The Wealthy Freelancer: Wouldn’t we all like to be one? Tips on marketing your services, how to find and keep clients, and general freelance biz news.
The Renegade Writer Blog: General biz tips for the freelancer, and this great article about the Freelancer’s Bill of Rights. Offers classes and ebooks.
Word Count: Michelle Rafter has business tips, information on courses, creativity & news posts, and great ideas for getting more traffic to your site.
And my favorite…
IttyBiz: Naomi Dunford is mouthy. Really mouthy. She’s also whip smart, motivated and knows how to hustle. She can teach you to do the same. Whether you are a writer, designer, Work at Home Mom (WAHM) or marketer, she can help you turn your idea into a successful small business. From Get Off Your Ass:
Imagine if you decided, 360 days of the year, to take THREE FUCKING MINUTES and send an email making contact with a new person. And imagine that 2 out of 3 of the people you email are completely useless.
What would you get?
These are the daily reads in my Google Reader. I hope you’ll add them to yours, too.

Many thanks for including me in this list. I also use the blog to keep up changes happening in the media business and how that’s affecting freelancers.
Thanks again,
