I am a blogger, freelance writer, political podcaster and Twitter addict. A one-woman content provider. I have been running Girl on the Right, a political blog, since early 2004. That spread to podcasting with a weekly political show called Brass Balls Radio. Brass Balls had a listenership of over 500,000 every week. Off the air now, but with something new coming soon.
I am a full-time professional freelance writer, writing content for websites, blogs and marketing materials. I work from my home office, which allows me to celebrate the casual days of the home worker: Topless Wednesday & No Pants Friday. (Hey, you, in your office! You get Casual Friday, so don’t judge!)
I have been known to simply pack up my laptop and my Chihuahua (Bug) and go on adventures, from skydiving over Oahu to being a farmhand in Kansas. All of this adventuring adds a certain amount of personality to my work as a writer. Want me to talk about budget travel? No worries – I’m a pro. Need someone who can give step-by-step instructions on shearing angora goats? Whaddaya know?! I’m your (wo)man!
